We welcome applications from students from all backgrounds and based all over the world. We accept students aged 11 -16.
We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision. We aim to make our admissions process as smooth and easily navigable as possible, allowing you to get as much information as possible about the school and as much support as possible with the application.
We are currently accepting applications for a September 2022 start.
The DE Candidate
We are interested in welcoming young people who are enthusiastic about their education and want to have an immersive and dynamic educational experience. We are looking for young people who would like to contribute their talents and energy to the life of the school, connecting with other students and their tutors to shape their educational journeys.
We are also looking for families who have a deep commitment to internationalism. Though our curriculum tracks the British system, we enhance our programme by taking a more global and expansive approach to our subject teaching. We are therefore looking for families that want their young people, through their education, to develop a deep understanding and compassion for peoples and environments beyond their own personal experience.
Initial Consultation and Assessment
The first step is to book an Initial Consultation and Assessment. This meeting will allow us to learn more about the student and their approach to education. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about the Academy. There will be a short assessment during the interview to give us an idea about the student’s current academic level. After this meeting we will let you know our thoughts and if we feel the student could excel at the Academy. If so, we will move ahead to enrolment and the Written Placement Test.
Written Placement Test
Before enrolment, the student will be asked to sit a Written Placement Test. Students sit three papers, one in Maths, one in English and a General Paper. The General Paper will assess the student’s critical thinking skills. This will allow tutors to get an understanding of a student’s academic level ahead of assignment submission.
