      Dartford Excelsior Academy is truly an international school. This is firmly reflected in our curriculum. Our deep commitment to internationalism means we aim to nurture young people that are truly global citizens, with a deep understanding and appreciation of themselves, the world around them, and the peoples within it.

      Built upon a core British curriculum, our ambitious and selective syllabi push the curriculum beyond its borders, to embrace a commitment to excellence, the fostering of independent thought, and the development of academic resilience.

      Whether it’s in our literature choices, our approach to the study of physical and human geographies, or the historical narratives we guide students through, our curriculum champions the global community, allowing young people to explore cultures and ideas beyond their own.

      Our deep commitment to excellence is reflected across the board in the academic rigour that underpins our selection and structuring of topics in the mathematical and natural sciences. In this way, our curriculum builds our students’ instincts for curiosity to delve deeper into the topics they encounter.
