Eleven Plus
We specialise with helping young people and their families to navigate the path to successful admission into the UK’s leading schools. We have an unparalleled knowledge of UK independent and grammar schools and are continually fostering relationships with leading figures in these schools to gauge what they are looking for in candidates.
Overview
The Eleven Plus remains the gold standard of primary level attainment in the UK.
Encompassing both the examinations used to secure entry into grammar schools and those used to secure entry into independent schools, each year success in the Eleven Plus requires students to be working within the top 5% of the national cohort. While there are a number of Eleven Plus examination boards such as CEM and GL, many schools and local authorities set their own exam or personalise the CEM and GL exams. Some schools are now administering the exam on computers while some are still requiring students to complete in-person written exams.
We understand how important a good education is and we are here to help you secure the best education for your children. We have over 15 years of experience helping young people gain admission into some of the country’s most prestigious schools. We work with young people to develop their skills across the board – academic, oracy, reasoning and critical thinking – allowing them to present to schools as well-rounded and engaged young people with the academic and interpersonal skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to school life.
Our targeted Eleven Plus tuition is annually revised to reflect changes in entrance school assessments. The course not only challenges students academically but builds up their academic resilience so that they are not only prepared for the exam but they are prepare for the academic rigour that will be require once they arrive in their new school. We take students from from year 4 onwards.
